About Quill Capita Trust

Quill Capita Trust (“QCT”) is a Real Estate Investment Trust (“REIT”) listed on the main board of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (“Bursa Securities”) on 8 January 2007. QCT is formed to acquire and invest in commercial properties primarily in Malaysia, with a view to provide QCT unitholders (“unitholders”) with long term and sustainable distribution of income and potential capital growth.

Started with four Quill Buildings at Cyberjaya during the initial public offering ("IPO"), QCT has within five months after the IPO entered into the Sales and Purchase Agreements for the acquisitions of both Wisma Technip and part of Plaza Mont' Kiara.

On 3 September 2007, QCT completed the proposed placement of up to 151,440,000 new units in QCT and the Proposed Acquisitions of Wisma Technip and part of Plaza Mont' Kiara.
 
In the first quarter of 2008, QCT acquired another three properties in the Klang Valley and Cyberjaya namely Quill Building 5 - IBM, Quill Building 8 - DHL (XPJ) and Quill Building 10 - HSBC (Section 13) for a total purchase consideration of RM94.5 million.

On 7 November 2008, QCT announced the completion of the acquisition of TESCO Building in Jelutong Penang. With the completion of TESCO Building, QCT's total portfolio has increased to 10 properties from an initial of 4 properties.

QCT will provide its unitholders a unique opportunity to participate in the growth of commercial property market in Malaysia. For QCT's purpose, commercial properties includes properties used or predominents used for commercial purpose.

QCT is managed by Quill Capita Management Sdn Bhd, which has three shareholders, namely, Quill Resources Holding Sdn Bhd, a company within the Quill Group of Companies, CapitaLand RECM Pte. Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of CapitaLand Financial Limited and Coast Capital Sdn Bhd, the bumiputera investor.
